Small Classes & Learning Support
Kids come in all shapes and sizes, and Middle Harbour excels at taking them exactly as they are. Small classes, the Walker Learning approach and individualised support help every child become everything they can be, with the P&C providing learning resources wherever they're needed.
Before and after school care where the answer to why kids love it is simple: it's where their friends are. Kindy kids get their own groups with classroom pick-ups, longstanding educators know every child, and vacation care makes the holidays something to look forward to.
Music does wonderful things for growing brains, and mostly it's just joyful. The Training Band starts in Year 3 with no experience needed, the strings program rehearses weekly, and both perform all year at school and in the community.
On Stage: School Show & Pulse Alive
The School Show runs from Kindy to Year 6, so every child discovers that dance is for everyone and that there's real pride in what you create together. From Year 3, kids can join Pulse Alive, singing and dancing in a packed arena at Sydney Olympic Park.
The P&C-run canteen has lunch covered for healthy eaters and fussy ones alike (the sushi goes off!), with birthday treats for the class sorted too. Ordering is easy on Flexischools.
When the hat goes missing for the thousandth time, the uniform shop has you: new items ordered any time on Flexischools, plus second-hand stalls that keep good uniforms circulating.
One of the loveliest school libraries around, looked after by someone who loves kids loving books. Each year, grandparents and special friends join us for Grandfriends Day to browse books, share a coffee and feel part of their small person's world.
Election day BBQs, morning teas, parents' nights, Mother's Day and Father's Day morning teas, a kids' carnival and the famous Colour Run. Even the Hale Road playground was designed with our Year 3 and 4 kids, then brought to life by the P&C.
Life is busy. Ours too. We give our time because we love this school and want it to stay the very best place for our small people to spend their primary years.
